My name is Tina Shafer and I have been a songwriter for over 25 years, I have been blessed to have writen for such amazing artists as Celine Dion, Sheena Easton, the late Phoebe Snow and Donna Summer, Billy Porter ... I am also the Artistic DIrector of The New York Songwriters Circle at the Historical Bitter End in NYC West Village, the original Songwriters Circle since 1991. Home to such artists as Norah Jones, Taylor Swift, John Oates, Marc Cohn, Judy Collins, Lana Del Rey, Gavin Degraw to name a few... A true community for great songs and songwriting. I am blessed to do music for a living. I coach voice in NYC and write music and work with the songwriting community. I raise to teenage boys...

It has been six years since my last album release and in the course of that time, there has been great transition in my life and some experiences that I feel a lot of people can connect with...we are all works in progress and my stories and lessons come in the form of my songs. I hope that you will find solace, strength and hope from them.. this record is called "The Good Ones" and is dedicated to my Mother and Father, two Good, kind and amazing people who left this earth a better place for having been here.
