简介

"Fractal Life" continues Martin Ball's ongoing journey of musical exploration, expression, and creativity with a psychedelic mix of world fusion, electronica, and alternative music. The album begins with the chant-like Native American style piece "Storm," featuring Martin's wife, Jessalynn on vocals (also released on their combined musical effort under the name "Fractal Love Jam"), a powerful song that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Coming in next, "Resonance Factor" gets psychedelic with deep electronic beats, throat and overtone singing, and didjeridu. "The Temple of the Electric Connection" pounds out an alternative/electronic dance number, also with didjeridu. The songs "Cured I" and "Cured II" captures Martin's love for the band, The Cure, one of his primary musical influences as a teenager. "Techno Tuvan" and "Awakening the Dreaming" are both electronic dance numbers with world fusion instrumentation and throat and overtone singing. "Storm Tongue" highlights Martin's use of glossolalia with world fusion touch. "Golden Lotus" moves from ambient to electronic dance with layers of shimmering guitars, didjeridu, and Native American flute. The album rounds out with the meditative "Universal Breath." This album is sure to delight fans of Martin's music, lovers of throat and overtone singing, and anyone who enjoys rich instrumentation, electronic dance music, and psychedelic world fusion. Crank up the volume, turn on the visualizer, and journey into the unknown with "Fractal Life."
