Engineer Mark Neil captures the raw feel of a Sun Records recording in his Soil of The South Studio! Just a Guild acoustic or National resonator guitar, Big River harmonicas and the slapping of his boots,...and oh yea even some slide on banjo. Donnie delivers Soulful Blues as he sings of Sorrow, Love and Faith!

Born in Illinois in 1962 Donnie began playing guitar in 1978. In the 80's he sang in Church and formed the Christian band Outcast. as a Blues performer he has opened for the likes of John Mayall, Leon Russell, Canned Heat, Jimmie Vaughan, as well as many others.

Hard Rain Fall is Donnie's first Gospel blues CD as he returns to his First Love. The main message is life without Jesus is no life at all!!!!!!
