West Texas native and songwriter, Edward Davis, has recorded two albums of original songs, WEST TEXAS HIGHWAY (2004) and DEVIL WIND (2009). Several of the songs on DEVIL WIND were co-written with his wife, Jan. Band members include Edward Davis (rhythm guitar and vocals), Lacy Jo Davis, Kelly Nance, and Jan Davis (vocals), J.M. Olson (lead, rhythm, bass guitar), Erick Nance (drums, lead, rhythm, bass guitar, vocal on "Jake's Suicide), Wally Moyers (steel guitar, dobro), and legendary Texas musicians Bobby Smith (bass guitar), and Lucky Floyd (drums). The DEVIL WIND album has a smooth, bluesy country sound - well worth a listen.
