I began playing the duduk after becoming inspired by its beautiful, expressive sound and having the good fortune to acquire an instrument through my friend, Rev. Fr. Gomidas Zohrabian. Later on, I performed and recorded on the duduk with David Darling and was featured on the CD "In Tune" released by the Relaxation Company. "Duduk Creations" is an expression of my love for my wife Sarah. When I first saw her, I was struck by her extraordinary radiance, grace and beauty. Early in our relationship, I improvised and recorded the first two tracks as a gift for her. I hope that you enjoy this album and the unfolding journey it takes you on. The duduk is an Armenian oboe made out of apricot tree wood.
