Ahh,1986. Barnes & Barnes were mandated by Rhino Records (as the story goes; not sure if it's true or not!) that their next album should be a comedy/novelty type record. The kind they were known for back in 1980. So B & B gave it to them! But they took it a step further. It was a loosely conceptual type project, where every song had to be "sick", since it was their 6th album. Disgusting. Dirty. Bold yet friendly. And fun. Never to be taken too seriously. The boys don't ever really want to upset anyone, but if they do, that's swell too. Hopefully, people always get the joke. Or not. But whatever, ya know?! It's all good. Thus, "SICKS" was born. This is it's first cd remastered release, chock full of never before heard bonus cuts, many of which were considered for the album at the time. Did Mumy and Haimer go too far? Or not far enough?? You decide. Contains the well known "hits": PIZZA FACE- P**SY WHIPPED- HOMOPHOBIC DREAM # 22, and others. Enjoy, you lovers of perverted yet friendly music~!
