简介
In a period when grime producers are finally stepping out into the limelight, none is bigger news than Faze Miyake. In just two years of serious production he's risen to become one of the biggest stars in the scene, providing beats for huge names like Jammer, Frisco, P Money, forming part of the Family Tree collective with major talents including MIK, Merky Ace and TKO, and remixing Magnetic Man, Childish Gambino, Devolution and more. His instrumental 'Take Off' remains a gigantic anthem at clubs and festivals some 18 months after release, but it was no one-off: he continues to be prolific and his beats set raves right alight across the UK. Woofer Music represents the next phase, with Faze taking the reins and presenting his tracks proudly as electronic music in their own right. The release that launches the label could hardly be bigger, featuring as it does collaborations with other titans of the scene, Preditah (on two tracks), Teddy (the artist formerly known as Silencer), and Flava D (on the take-no-prisoners orchestral 2-step riddim 'Volt'). Combine this with a hook-up with the mighty Rinse, and you have an artist ready to blast his way through the boundaries of the grime scene and into the wider public consciousness – get ready to get on board or get left behind!
