I'm a 20 year old Australian singer, songwriter and I'm an idealist when it comes to music... I want to go beyond singing about unrequited love. I want to combine all my favourite musicians into one song: Simon & Garfunkel, Tracy Chapman, Carole King and the 90s popstars but… I don’t want to be defined as any one of them. I want to create catchy melodies that my listeners just can’t get out of their heads and… I want to write lyrics that stay in their minds even longer. I found that in today’s chaos, an overanalysing mind was becoming the norm. I yearned to stop, stay still in the moment and let the world continue at its hectic pace …so I wrote about it. I’ve finally realised, at the age of 20, that after a life time of music lessons, I’m finally free to start my real musical journey. I want to share my music with others, because I believe that the human experience is meant to be shared. I want to get as much out of my life as possible, so I’m continuing to study law at Sydney Uni … I told you I’m an idealist.
