For their second album, Carolyn and Dickie Sullivan knew they wanted to capture the feel of a "live in the studio" album. With the support of some stellar musicians (Sandy Martin on bass, Kathy Burkly on drums, and Jerry Twomey on lead guitar), the CD has a spontaneous, live-wire feel. The songs run the gamut from introspective to light-hearted; pop to Flying Burritos-era country, and the thread uniting all the tracks is the Sullivans' dedication to carefully crafted lyrics and undeniable melodic hooks.
