Recording Artist / Songwriter / Producer / CEO AJ LOVA, was born Aaron James Wilson, in Rochester, NY, and began singing at the young age of 3. At age 11, he honed a passion for writing poetry and recording songs, in a group a childhood friend of the family friend started with AJ and his cousin, Amir Ponel.. the "YoungStars" were born. AJ moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2005 to finish high school. After high school, AJ decided to pursue music, rather than college.. And formed a hip-hop/r&b duo named "Lyrical Expressionz" along side a high school friend, Yungiin (aka Chucc Schwartz). AJ had always had an ear for writing music lyrics to catchy "off the cusp" melodies, and at 18, he found a real passion for recording as a solo artist. AJ then attended The Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood, CA to learn the "ins and outs" of recording in their audio engineering program.. AJ has honed a skill unlike any performer today with his musical abilities beginning first with his love of writing. Teaming with a Compton producer, by the name of Jay Anthony, AJ created a soothing R&B EP entitled "Intimate Confessions" in 2013. His musical base being R&B, AJ also embraces genres from pop to country to hip-hop to k pop, creating a diverse range for himself as a songwriter. In Los Angeles, AJ built relationships with others in his field to broaden his musical experience, such as his own production group(s), Countdown Music & The Track Pack, cofounded with partners and musician friends of his. AJ has dedicated his time to writing for other artists also. As a performer, however, his vocal expertise is the most clear-cut, conveying a soothing, but powerful, voice, adored by his fans that can't get enough of his sound, anticipating the release of his debut single "9to5". A bright future lays on the horizon for AJ LOVA, as he continues to learn as a gifted musician and songwriter, working with Grammy nominated producers to help create sounds for major and up & coming artist of the 2016 line up. The "opportunity" is presenting itself for this talented singer, and the outcome will be limitless.
