"As a student of this era in music history, I feel a responsibility like no other when I step off Union Ave and walk through that door. There is an obvious passing of the torch as I stand on the same tiles my heroes stood on and strum my guitar singing songs I wrote...all the while doing it with the guy (W.S. "Fluke" Holland) that's handing the torch to me! What an indescribable honor! I owed it to myself to throw out all the rules and limitations of the current day and just let the magic happen, no overdubs, no vocal tuning, just live and unleashed. Frank Sinatra and Doris Day owned the charts when Elvis hit that raw A chord and Johnny hit that out of tune E the 1st time they cut loose in there, and I plan on drawing just as much of a contrast today with my songs there as they did.
