Miami Talent Peter Fernandez first to perform on the National Stage at Magic City Casino STAGE305 MAGIC CITY CASINO PETER FERNANDEZ SHOW SHEDULE 2013/14 NOV 23, 2013 and 2014 dates: JAN 25, MAR 29, MAY 24, JUL 26, SEP 27 & NOV 22 After 3 consecutive very successful performances at Secada's, Magic City's smaller venue, Peter Fernandez was the first local singer invited to appear at Stage305, the main stage which up to now has been reserved for famous national acts. The June 1st performance was such a success that from now on he will only be featured at Stage305! Fernandez was the voice of the 70's for thousands of Cuban-American teenagers coming of age in Miami. As the lead singer for two of the most popular local bands of the day, "Coke" and "The Antiques", Fernandez was a local young celebrity for a generation who grew up dancing to his music and listening to his records. Back in the 70's the performances were held at dances called "Open Houses" which took place every weekend in ball rooms of hotels and other local venues like Electrician's Hall. Much to every one's surprise on Nov 25, 2011 Peter's fans came out of the woodwork when he decided to have his own "Open House Reunion" for the first time in over 35 years. The following 2 shows in Dec and Feb brought even more people to Secada's. His is an audience who cant seem to get enough of the fun and nostalgia that re-living this unique era of Miami's past brings. With every performance along with a 9 piece band including some Miami's finest musicians & back up singers, continuous dance music with Carlos Dj Sonic and an incredible light show by Joe Electro, Peter Fernandez makes Miami history once again bringing an unprecedented amount of fans back to the future with his "70's & 80's Miami Dance Party Experience".
