Angel Robbins had no other choice than to be musically inclined. The daughter of Veronica Webber and Steve Chambers, she was raised in the church where her grandfather, the Bishop E.E. Webber, was pastor. The traveling family sang together, and she performed her first solo at age five. Soon after, churches were requesting the little powerhouse as a solo performer. As she matured, Robbins, continued singing with The Webber Family. The family produced a gospel CD along with her husband, keyboardist Adrion Robbins. Her philosophy is that music is limitless and can connect the physical, emotional, and spiritual. It is the true therapy for the soul. Currently the praise leader of Divine Love Christian Fellowship, she brings a refreshing flavor making each service unique. Although she is active in the church, Robbins inspirational music cannot be confined to just gospel. She has been praised for both her solo performances, as well as, her features with other local and national recording artists. Angel Robbins is one of Tulsa’s most hidden gems. Her quiet but commanding presence is reminiscent of greats like Vanessa Bell-Armstrong and Kim Burrell. Vocally, Robbins has a distinctive style that offers velvety jazz undertones.
