The New American Guitar Ensemble was conceived in 1982 by Lewis Ross. After co-founding Revere Records, Mr. Ross’ alter ego performed on two memorable Revere Recordings, “A Collection of Favourite Christmas Carols” and “Songs, Hymns and Carols” which remain popular to this day. This recording, “A Collection of Favourite Hymns” is the first release offered by NAGE Music and we hope you will enjoy playing it for many years to come. Instruments used in the making of this recording included a 1934 Martin 000-18, a 1951 Gibson LG-1 and a 1951 Gibson L-48.
