简介

In this age of dumbing down, Christine has written a song for one group she knows is being discriminated against: sesquipedalians. You might be one: people who use big words unnecessarily. Track 2 has 58 big words you might have to look up, but don't be embarrassed -- she had to look them up while writing it. Not only does Neil deGrasse Tyson's name appear in the lyrics of that song, his voice appears later in the album when he introduces Christine to his audience at The Beacon Theater in NYC, where she sings her love song to the planet Pluto, "Planet X." Christine recently relocated back to NYC where her new digs -- down the street from the Empire State Building -- inspired Track 6, "Grandpa & The Empire State Building." Altogether there are 15 songs on this album, 74-1/2 minutes -- yes, she is old school, and there's a lot of bang for the buck. Your IQ is going to go up just listening to these songs. The last two, "Planet X" about Pluto and "Hole In The Bottom Of The Sea" (about an oil spill that gets cleaned up by clean, alternative energy sources, are both popular with kids, even though Christine is not a children's performer, per se. "Hole In The Bottom Of The Sea" (or HITBOTS as she calls it) is going to be a children's ebook coming out sometime in late 2017 or early 2018 with artwork by Betsy Franco Feeney at puddejumppress. To receive Christine's free 48 page liner notes for SPAGHETTIFICATION, leave her a message at her website, christinelavin.com, and she'll send it right away. Easy!
