While their first EP, "Seventeen Minutes in the Cheap Seats" dealt with abstract themes and otherworldly ideas (such as the terminally ill being sent away in escape pods to circle the galaxy in a suspended animation only to return once the planet had modernized enough to have found a cure), “The Neon Sound” touches on themes that are now slightly closer to home…love and relationships. Yet, still true to form, the Management pump out another intriguing collection of lo-fi, psychedelic tracks reminiscent of the comfortable hums that emanate from late night neon signs.
