Save The Night - RMX I
简介
After its first series of original releases, the beneficial label established by Luna Club Kiel in Germany invited its family network to remix from the current catalogue. The first three to accept already provided countless trips from behind the decks and succeed effortlessly to ensure that same level of quality for their productions. Aera who is known for his releases on labels such as Dixon's Innervisions, John Talabot's Hiver or Benjamin Fröhlich's Permanent Vacation starts things off with his remix of Hank's "Coastal Bonds" (STN002). He provides us with a psychedelic version of the original with dream pop influences and house grooves. Next up is the pitch by Say Clap, not only a former Luna resident during his event series called "freq." for many years but also a very deep friend of the club and owner of his own subcultural haven. He takes the original by Gain Of Seven („Until it’s over“, STN002) and transforms it into a rhythmic, percussive groover with strong dub vibes. Closing the first Remix EP of the Save The Night series is resident DJ and Empore Labelhead Valiete with his re-interpretation of Avidus' "Midnight Sun" (STN001). With well selected drum elements and his signature sound nerdism moments, Valiete adds his very own touch to the original and completes the first bunch of remixes with a strong dramatic masterpiece of a remix for his brothers Avidus. *After almost 20 years of club business and countless nights of dancing under mirror balls, Luna Club, which is based in Kiel, brings together a selection of music from friends and family, to make up for the financial losses due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation.
