It's a scary experience to write a song, place it on a disc and bear your soul to the world. You wonder if everyone will "get it", seeing and feeling what you felt as the artist! The overwhelming acceptance (of Here In Texas) is astounding. This project is a first for me in many ways. I played acoustic guitar on every track, I sang all of my back ground vocals, I produced every track, and I wrote every song (with the exception of Can’t You See). It is the first project I have ever completed outside of Nashville, TN and it has allowed me to say things that I normally can’t. The freedom and pride of independent TEXAS music shines on in this project. It delivers what you have all come to expect from me as a TRUE ARTIST that holds nothing back.
