Michael Peterson has been singing, writing, and recording music for more than 28 years, and has worked with some very impressive people along the way. He will be the first one to humbly admit that he is just now starting to come into his own as an artist and producer. His music has been described as melodic, poetic and heart felt. Like the psalms of King David, Michael’s words and voice bring people who are hurting into a deeper, more honest place with God. In 1995, while in Houston, Texas, and by God’s hands in order to prepare him for his ministry, Michael became “homeless”. From 1995 to 2000, Michael along with a ministry team made up of fellow “homeless” Christians, raised more than 100,000 dollars by performing concerts at local churches and other venues with all proceeds going to those in need. Michael\'s music helps us find that place in our heart were we can surrender to the Lord in praise and worship. His lyrics hold nothing back, delivering truth, the truth that makes us free. I have seen the look of peace on people’s faces as Michael’s anointed voice breaks into praises to God during his live performances. Congregations come to life, men and women crying out to the Lord with a surrendered heart. Yet, if you ask Michael were he is most comfortable ministering he will simply say, “The same place that Jesus is, were those that feel helpless and those that are hurting.”
