Mo Safren is called "The Jammer" by the ones who are close to him and know his music. He studied Jazz Piano in college and uses his piano chops to create easy listening-modern day electronic music. Coming from Virginia and being a spiritual being, you can hear the southern soul in his music. He produces everything from scratch--all just using a piano and a microphone.
