A blues record, that's what it is. Though you can hear on Vinicius Rosa's first album some jazz harmonies and some nasty drum grooves, the blues guitar is what the record is all about. Vinicius loves Beatles, Sting, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder as much he loves Hendrix, Robben Ford, David Gilmour and Pat Metheny, so his songwriting has a little bit of everyone of them. Not the kind of traditional instrumental music neither ordinary guitar playing, it's really a unique way of putting all these influences together. This album has some really special musicians like trumpet player Jessé Sadoc, tenor saxophone player Marcelo Martins, bass players Dunga and André Vasconcellos, keyboard player Renato Fonseca, harmonica player Milton Guedes, drummer João Viana just to name a few. All of them wrote their names on the brazilian music due their extensive list of credits with the most talented brazilian artists.
