Chosen, founder and rising artist of M.A.D.E. Records, grew up much like many of his peers in a South Georgia neighborhood. Born to a struggling mother, an absentee father, siblings and streets that beckoned him from a young age, Chosen could only resist for so long and soon became in a local street gang. Seeing the potential for leadership even then, the gain made him leader and he soon became a local legend. After years of tormenting his mother and family with stints in and out of the prison system, close calls with his life but an ever faithful praying family, Chosen relented and heeded to the God’s call on his life, hence the name Chosen. While the music wasn’t always to the glory of God or the furtherment of the Kingdom, Chosen and his equally street involved brother always found solace in music. After wrestling with the Spirit, Chosen surrendered his life and talents to Christ once and for all and under the leading of the Holy Spirit started M.A.D.E. Records, a not for profit , strictly Christian record company that aims to help young men and women realize their dreams of creating fresh Christian music, learn production and musical direction.
