It is with a real sense of joy and gratitude to God that we are able to present this album of ‘Celtish’ instrumental music to you. It has been a wonderful experience for us to discover some melodies we love and to be able to record them with our own unique sound that we hope and pray will bless you. The process of making this album took me (Nigel) back to some of my earliest musical influences, for example, my first discovery of Celtic Rock in the form of Irish band ‘Horslips’ when I was still a teenager. Around the same time, I was given my first tin whistle by the bass-player in a band we were forming and I started to use it in our acoustic songs. The rest, as they say, is history! This ancient Celtic sound has given me a voice to express my heart without words. It resonates deeply, sometimes with healing power beyond my understanding. How amazing then, that God should give me a wife who not only shares my love of Celtic music, but plays and sings it so beautifully as well. We are so excited to be flowing together as one on this album and we really hope you enjoy the sound of ‘Celtish.’
