Soliloquy is a work by Lowell Liebermann, one of the most significant composers of the past decades. Liebermann is particularly noted for his superb writing for the flute. Flutist Katherine Kemler, the flutist on this recording, commissioned this work from Lowell Liebermann a number of years ago. This piece is frequently assigned as a work for flute students at major music conservatories and universities.
