The reasons were the same as the times before, but the pain inflicted was far stronger. How could the same words inflict more damage when he already had gotten used to being so hurt?

After the call was ended, Leo’s first instinct was to pen down his feelings in his journal and thus gave birth to the piece known as “Promises”. It explores the feelings and emotions of a man who has been roped into several new beginnings, sacrificing and committing for a future, just for his heart to be played and left for dead.
