Húm is a band based out of Bergen that was established by Rakel Anna Kristjánsdóttir in August 2015 when they played their debut concert at the venue Rust in Copenhagen. Húm swiftly developed an original expression combining Icelandic lyrics, spacious soundscapes, captivating melodies with a strong rhythm section.

The lyrics reflect the mood indicated by the name of the band. This mood is enhanced by Rakel Kristjánsdóttirs honest lyrics which describe her experiences during her four years in Bergen.
