When I fall asleep and go into my dream state, time is linear. Past and present melt into one. My soul body travels to a spiritual plane, leaving my physical body behind. It is there, where the imprint of my past and present come together. Any unresolved issues will surface here from the dormant state of my subconscious, and will continue to, until they are resolved either in this physical life or in THIS INNER LIFE.
