Born in East St Louis and growing up in street life Tj aka Terry Joiner seen things at a young age. Seeing his granddad and grandma working and seeing his older cousin on the street corner tj head was messed up . Tj came from a broken home mom was a hardworking single mom and dad was a drug user he seen at a young age how to make it in the world ”hard work” . Tj mom was in the military and moved around and though it would be a better life . Starting off living in the Fort Meade Maryland wasn’t the best moved , again landing in the street he seen how things work in a different coast . Moving from Maryland to Dallas staying with aunt and cousin tj got the experience of how south do things .Moving to Alaska he seen a big change for the first time .Age 15 Tj seen more activity then anyone his age. Moving coast to coast From Midwest, East coast and South , dealing drugs, and getting into illegal activity tj finally figure that there was more to life .Once in Alaska tj put all his life down as songs wanting to become a song writer his English was horrible and all he knew was slang . Apparently he was very street smart but far from school smart. After year moved to Seattle where he start getting look at in football ,trying everything to get a full ride he graduated on time but shy with his grades to get in a division 1 college. Starting at a juco in California he graduated with his A.A degree and got a full ride in football to Southwestern Oklahoma State University . All doing this time he learning and writing songs he wanted people to hear his music. Taking time in class to write and playing football gave Tj expiration to do both . Once football came to close because of knee problem Tj then pursue music writing . Tj album “where you been ,where you at “ came out in Januray 2010 , with hit single She the Show, Stuck on myself and Drunk Talk hoping he can put Oklahoma on the map in rap game. After living in Oklahoma for over six years and graduating college with his B.A Tj can never forget where he been , but defiantly know where he at .
