Stevie was born on June 23rd, 1988 in Cali, Colombia. At a very young age soccer became his main passion which led him to play local and national tournaments. In 2000, Stevie and his family moved to the United States where he continued to play soccer and develop his skills. After graduating high school in 2006, Stevie ventured to Brasil to play professionally. Soccer and music are part of the daily living in Brasil and this had a great impact on his life. It was there and then when he began to put a rhythm to the touch of the ball. In 2007, due to a high energy trauma injury in the left knee, he was forced to give up his soccer career and return to the United States where he began to study architecture. A few years later he bought his first guitar and began to teach himself how to play. Stevie started to develop very captivating melodies which later became songs.
