However, I am committed to trying to understand my friends' and fellow humans' experience, and more importantly creating space –by vacating spaces– for them to thrive and teach us in. I'm committed to making my privileges and resources available to the movement as tools for revolution and not tools of oppression. Obviously, this is a learning process and we live in a quickly changing world. This album reflects (some of) the opinions I have at the time it’s being released. My greatest hope for these songs is to inspire conversation, revolution and resistance. Let's talk about what works, let's also talk about what's problematic with this record.
