简介
Andrew Kovalski DBA "Balistic" Solo rapper, Balistic brings to NEPA his first CD-"Wilkesology Chapter One", released by the area's newest independent hip hop label-VOD Recordings. Drawing from his real life drama, artist Balistic, chose to channel his frustrations creatively resulting in the release of this cd. In his lyrics you'll get his take on social, economic and political issues and other topics unique to the Wilkes-Barre area. Paired with tracks by underground producer/DJ, Mr. Dar, Balistic's lyrics offer listeners an often overlooked view of what it's like to grow up in this area. In addition to working on "Wilkesology Chapter One", this past year, Balistic graduated from Hanover High School where he freestyled and received accolades in a couple of talent shows. He was also featured on several tracks of the mix CD Spit@U by DJ Logan X, released in 2002, Balistic draws inspiration from and writes about current events, personal experiences and street bravado. In songs like "So ill", "Rock the mic", and "Kid from the streets" this CD underscores his panache for writing battle rhymes and depicts what it's like to be a young, up and coming emcee from the street. In addition, he's also made several appearances on Moe and Destro's Tuesday night college radio show at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA and is currently in the process of working on his next upcoming release.
