A few years ago the members of Trellis abandoned Los Angeles and returned to the East Coast. After pursing their dreams in the warm, dry and dirty air of Hollywood, they decided to return to their roots. A move that not only freed them from the industry of LA, but also sparked the excitement they both had for their craft. Chris set out on a path to write an album that was one of hope. From meeting his future wife, as well as the nature around him, a triple album of new songs erupted from his fingers and guitars. A new style of music streamed from his heart and soul. At the same time, Brian met his fiancé and began a new life, one that still had his underlying drive to unleash his bold voice and sing for whomever would listen. His vocal strength only grew as he waited to put his mark on the songs he heard. Outlier has became the first of a new series of albums that they are writing and recording. This album encourages and builds, both musically and lyrically. It offers a new perspective of possibilities that are unique and uncommon. All occurring in rock songs that at one moment have thunderous drums with ripping solo's, which can then shift to warm ballads that are soothing and peaceful.
