It's rock 'n music perr-fection.” The name has changed and the music has just gotten better. G, formerly The Granati Brothers/G-Force have created magic with their new CD, G...the continuing adventures of the Granati brothers. They show a wide range of styles and versatility rarely heard in these days of manufactured, by the numbers “hits.” The CD is written and produced by David, Hermie, and Joey Granati. Recorded at brother David's 48-track facility (Dave World Productions), over a 20-month period. The band decided to forgo cheap bells and whistles for memorable melodies and strong hooks that grab you and don't let go. Brian Foraker mastered the CD in his Nashville studio. Brian has recorded Heart, Moby, Yes and other artists. Fourteen original songs pace the CD along with Hermie's rendition of Lennon and McCartney's 'O Darlin. David's stunning guitar textures are the connective tissue driven by the bruising drumbeat of Tony Bonomo and ignited by the multi-talented Joey Granati bringing voice, keyboards, bass, and classically beautiful melodies to the already muscular proceedings. Rick Granati is the energizer with his strong, steady percussions, while Hermie Granati supplies the soul and the power of an amazing voice and electrifying keyboard style. Guest appearances include an oboe soloist and string quartet from the world class Pittsburgh Symphony, featuring principal cellist Irv Kaufmann and principal violinist Louis Lev. These awe-inspiring players breathe life into Joey's string arrangements. Tracey Whorton's earthy abstract vibe completes the mix by way of her native and traditional percussion treatments. Overall, this collection is like music you haven't heard in a long time. Still, G...the continuing adventures of the Granati brothers is like nothing you've heard before. The Granati Brothers had two releases on A&M Records and opened 78 shows for Van Halen in the 80's. David and Joe, along with Gary Carolla and Sputzy Sparacino wrote Aaron Carter's hit song, "Tell Me How To Make You Smile" featured on Arron's debut album.
