From the artist- Whisper is very personal to me. it's my life track. Too many shattered self-images out there. Too many people among the living dead. Because I want this to be accessible to the masses, I want to clarify the "explicit" label. One of the words from the lyrics was a word that a few select kids called me that was hurtful and wrong. But to shy away from putting it in the song didn't seem right. I do not see Whisper as a vulgar song but a truthful one.
