Funkstuff Recordings is happily announcing the next release in a new (for us) format - VA EP. As a condensed expression of diversity we compiled four musical viewpoints on liquid funk. The EP is entitled Textures, which being slightly obscure and general but still very intuitive term, here refers to the particular amalgam of various musical building blocks, establishing the overall feel of a given track. Thus we present four different "liquid textures", created by artists with different backgrounds and taste but clustered around the brighter side of drum & bass. Like the unmistakable reggae influence of Fokus, which brings a certain dubwise flavor to Days Go By. Or the powerful 99% cocoa Chocolate, which conveys the minimalistic energy of styles that Presize has been exposed to. And all this under the roof of FSR.

It is a well-established fact that music doesn't respect any borders, both literally and metaphorically speaking. We further testify that by a trans-European cross-genre blend in the current FSR032.
