Spring 2006 we had an idea: "Why don't we expand beyond live music and put out a CD to benefit an organization that's doing good in the world?" This idea took form as a benefit compilation CD for Sustainable Harvest International, which has planted over 1,900,000 trees in South America, and converted 5,000 desolate acres into sustainable land. Local bands had the option of sending in a track, or recording for free in Zeke Nierenberg's bedroom, (or at that point, studio). Now, on February 18th, 2007, we will present you with "One note at a time...", a compilation CD featuring music from 13 local artists. The goal with this CD is not just to donate to Sustainable Harvest, but to inspire you to make a change. We know that with our peers alongside us, anything is possible.
