The New Day Riddim is a product of JahLight Records Trinidad, owned by Akeunde Pemberton And Sherlon Jackson. The riddim was produced by Ato Willaims. The tracks were recorded by Akeunde Pemberton, except for track 5, which was recorded by Nigel Julien aka Dainjamental at Dainjamentalz USA. The project was mixed by Ronald Salandy and Kendel Arnold, while all tracks were mastered at Tuff Gong International Jamaica by Gary Surtherland. The New Day Riddim was executively produced by Akeunde Pemberton and Sherlon Jackson. The New Day riddim compilation was created to inspire hope, to encourage people to keep the faith despite the problems and challenges they face in life. As such, Mr Royal explains it best in his track called, 'New Day', as he urges, ' No Skylarking, it's a new day for you to try...... Don't let the chances pass you by'.
