My mother, Terry Kim Tomkinson, was deaf her whole life. On February 23, 2014 she suffered a brain aneurysm. Amidst a 9-hour brain surgery and flatlining twice, a special family prayer was said, she clung to life in a coma. During this time her spirit was not in her body. We know she was speaking with the Savior face to face. Four days later on February 27, she woke up, but only so her family could say goodbye...for now.
