In a world where individuals are chasing riches, Ed Williams is focusing his sights on empowering the world. A Mississippi native, Ed uses his musical gifts and intellectual perspectives to impact the communities at large. He's an educator by trade, worship/youth leader in action, and a worshipper at heart. ​ Like many, Ed found his voice in the church. He began singing at a young age, but hid his passion for years. Too fearful to sing, Ed built a strong interest in sports instead. He participated competitively until his senior year in high school. There, he was a part of the varsity football and soccer teams. Also, he was a member of the National Honor Society. Away from the field, he listened to the likes of TobyMac, Fred Hammond, John Mayer, Hillsong, Michael Jackson, and Jonathan McReynolds. These musical influences propelled him to cultivate his own music. While in his college dorm room, Ed privately honed his sound. While writing, he accepted God's call into the music ministry. He began to lead various praise and worship teams at his local church. There, he continues to lead worship and is an active youth leader. ​ Ed's ultimate desire is to lead individuals of all walks of life to Jesus Christ. Through his music and his life, he actively seeks to use his efforts to impact the world. His sound is unlike any other! The message of The Gospel pierces through in his lyrics. Each song is a declaratory, inspirational anthem that God is greater than any ailment, problem, or plague. The hooks are refreshingly energetic and full of life. His ballads touch the sentiments of worship. As a result, Ed's message as an artist is simplicity clear: Love God, love people.
