简介
Les Fradkin returns with "Strat Heaven"- a high energy program of rock guitar instrumentals. Many of these titles are being heard as guitar instrumentals for the first time! Featuring covers by such notables as The All American Rejects, Fall Out Boy, Gnarls Barkley, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, the pace never lets up. Les' cover of The Beatles tune "Good Night" features The Vienna Symphony and showcases Les' considerable guitar prowess in an area previously stalked by Jeff Beck on "Where Were You" on the "Guitar Shop" album. Harmonics, whammy bar pyrotechnics and an all new special tuning offer something new for both Beatles fans and guitar fans alike. Meanwhile, on Les' cover of the Gary Glitter smash "Rock & Roll, Part 2", Nokie Edwards of The Ventures makes, another guest appearance on a Les Fradkin CD with some lively duet guitar playing. Les' new composition "Strat Heaven" continues to showcase the distinctive "surf rock" sound heard on previous releases from him such as "A Day At The Beach." As an added bonus, Les has been known for duplicating classic rock songs of the past as he did with the "Golden Slumbers" Abbey Road Medley on "While My Guitar Only Plays". Here, he tackles the iconic Led Zeppelin smash "Stairway To Heaven" and recreates every nuance of Jimmy Page's original wall of guitars. "Strat Heaven"- A must for all classic rock fans and all guitar instrumental fans.
