Nani FM belts a unique voice that turns heads. Likened to PJ Harvey, her vocal style is raspy, effortless, and breathtaking. Paired with a delayed electric guitar and loop station, Nani FM makes for a lush listening experience.

Nani FM has been a musician and performing artist for the past ten years. She has released three studio albums, several singles and contributed to compilation albums. Her roots began in rural south Georgia, where hymnals, gospel, and country highly influenced her style. She has fused country style fingerpicking into her more recent influences, including indie pop, electronic, and shoe gaze. In 2008, she released an album with her group Nani and Zonnie. The electronic-folk duo wrote folk structure political activism songs with electronic drums and synth. In 2012, Nani released two albums with an indie-pop drummer/guitar duo, SoundL!ke, based out of Brooklyn, NY. Her work in this project helped her understand how to fill a sound space with limited instrumentation. Her solo work, which has never been released, showcases her ability to fill sound space with only guitar and voice. Her work features elaborate finger styling, interesting chord structures, and wide vocal range.
