[You] is a Single acoustic song, released October 20, 2013. It tells a story about the everyday life of a lovesick musician who continues to follow a dream despite the surrounding troubles. Adding to the uniqueness of this song, it was recorded in a pre-Civil War cabin located in Summerville, South Carolina, which was turned into a recording studio, called 'The Ranch.' The lengthy intro displays the sounds of late night summer in the south. This scene took several hours of recording outside, on two separate occasions, in order to attain a segment without the blemish of background noise. If you listen closely, an owl makes a guest appearance and is hooting during the audio nature scene.
