"Man in the Moon" is a crossover acoustic pop / country / rock song about an estranged couple trying to reconcile after a misunderstanding. This song would sit nicely among the tracks on any album by Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney and the like. It is a beautiful ballad which finds the singer pleading with his ex-lover to look past "jealously and insecurity" because "the Man in the Moon isn't smiling down on us tonight."
