This self titled album is a compilation of songs taken from three previous albums recorded by Michelle Chandler released specifically for the US market. A brief history of her observations of life around her, Chandler explores love, lust life and death as well as the mundane. She has a beautifully pure voice which is highlighted in the choice of material as well as a talent for writing in many styles from acoustic folk to jazz, reggae and country. This is an extremely enjoyable album, easy on the ears and good for the soul.
