As a musician I appreciate all types of music. This shows through in the songs that I write and perform. Though primarily a jazz pianist I enjoy writing songs that would relate to a general audience including those who enjoy pop, rock, jazz and/or classical music. For example, "In Another World, Another Time" I wrote a simple, memorable melody and used harmonies that would be easy on the ear of the non-musician. In addition, I also added digital strings in one section to give it a movie theme feeling. I wrote the song after someone from many years ago contacted me and I began thinking about the "what if" aspect if I had chosen a different path other than the one I chose. Who would I be with? What would I be doing? The song contains a aire of romance, reverie and passion. Perhaps you too can relate to this song for the same reasons or remember someone from your past as you listen.
