My project is called Things We Feel. To understand the direction this project is going you have to start at the end of my last one, Letters. I left you last on a love high. When you’re in love like that sometimes being together feels dreamlike. As though you’re floating. I continue to speak about my love because of what it makes me feel but at the end of the day, i have to leave this dream like state, back into the reality of my daily life. No matter how beautiful the space you create is, you have all kinds of energies and situations waiting for you, because life goes on. There are people who don’t love you, people who pretend to, people who aren’t listening, people who don’t see you the way you need to be seen. Nothing will wake you up faster from a dream like that than looking around and remembering that you’re not a child anymore, you won’t feel what you felt then again. You won’t feel that free ever again. This is why I’ve set this project in the playground. It’s a reminder of who I once was, in a time where I don’t feel ready to start the conversation of who I want to be
