The tension builds from the start of the Original mix, in which Solid Skills clever use of rhythms, synths and vocals lead you into the track where contrasting moods combine to create an imaginative and unique vibe. A master of his art, Mariano Ballejos uses off key synths, driven by pumping beats, side chain and sweeps under the vocal melody. A wailing guitar in the break contrasts with the delicate vocals before Mariano twists this powerful remix for a final time. The second remix by Barakooda uses snappy driving rhythms and a lighter touch. Expertly manipulating the vocals, Barakooda supplies an edgy vibe under the floating vocals in his own banging version of the track. Finishing off this release, Paul Transet slows the pace in his remix, an atmospheric take on the track with a laidback feel, where the vocal takes pride of place above the accompaniment.
