Begun strictly for fun -- adding some variety to rehearsals, and also as a favor to Erica (the band was working up some songs to play at her wedding to husband John [who sings on Track 2]) -- it sounded so good, they made it into an official release. It took a few years . . . finishing touches on the recording were completed right before their baby was due! The songs swing, sparkle, and spread cheer to all who hear them. The final track is a loving tribute to Dave Campbell, the band's drummer, who passed away in 2010. It's his drum track for "Everything I've Got," soloed -- the joy, the timbre, the expressive dynamics of his playing, and the final burst of joy: "Yeah! . . . THAT"S RIGHT!"
