I have been a fan of rap/hip-hop music for over 25 years. It has been a dream of mine to be able to put out music in a capacity that would allow me to have creative freedom, from the start to the completion of an album. The vision behind this project was to bring together as many of my favorite artists as possible onto one album. As part of that idea, I wanted to create unique combinations of artists as well as have artists that have never been on the same track come together on this Compilation. I also wanted to see my song concepts/titles come to life through the interpretations of the artists that I selected to be on this album. I personally selected all the beats as well as the participants, and it all came together wonderfully. This Directors Cut bridges together artists from all over the country and from three different decades, in order to provide the listener with a fluid listening experience as well as music with substance.
