This collection of songs is essentially about life and the passing of time. They offer reflections about busting out of town and leaving everything behind…only to discover that you really want nothing more than to get back home again. They attempt to capture the warmth of summer, the cold of winter and the peaceful passing of an afternoon storm. They talk about the loss of love; the pain of loneliness and the importance of living every day to it’s fullest. They challenge us to visit places we’ve never been as well as hold on tight to the familiar. All in all, they speak to the very core of who we are as people and the decisions we make along this road called “life.” These songs seek to capture a page in the book of our learning…and it’s a privilege to share them with you!
